The MINI GT MGT01012 Ford Mustang GT3 #65 celebrates an important chapter in Ford’s motorsport history: the return of the iconic Mustang to top-level international sports-car racing. Developed jointly by Ford Performance and Multimatic Motorsports, the Mustang GT3 made its IMSA debut at the legendary Rolex 24 at Daytona in January 2024.
The #65 Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang features the aggressive aerodynamic package required for GT3 competition, including a large front splitter, aerodynamic canards, wide racing bodywork, side aero, rear diffuser and enormous GT rear wing. The distinctive blue Ford Multimatic Motorsports racing livery gives the model an unmistakable factory-racing appearance.
MINI GT reproduces the Mustang GT3 in 1:64 scale with a full diecast metal body, detailed chassis, soft rubber tyres and accurately reproduced racing wheels. The model is approximately 6–7 cm long, making it ideal for pairing with other 1:64 IMSA and endurance-racing models.
The real #65 Mustang GT3 was driven during its 2024 IMSA campaign by Joey Hand and Dirk Müller, with Frédéric Vervisch also associated with the Daytona lineup. The Mustang GT3 program represented Ford’s return to the premier level of sports-car competition and marked the beginning of a new era for the Mustang in international endurance racing.
